DESCRIPTION:It’s time to celebrate dad and what better way to do that than with a fun filled day at the Buffalo Zoo!   \nGrab your father or father figure and head to the Zoo on Saturday\, June 12 for our Day with Dad event! Enjoy some quality time with your loved ones while you visit some of our animal dads at the Zoo\, like Tiberius the African lion and Koga\, the Western Lowland Gorilla. That’s not the only fun you’ll have – along with getting to see our exotic animal collection\, you will have the opportunity to see an exotic car collection! WNYexotics will be showcasing a special fleet of cars on Zoo grounds throughout the day. Feast your eyes on a Lamborghini\, Maserati\, Porsche and many other luxury sports cars! Have you always wanted to take a ride in one of these beauties? Now is your chance! There will be two raffles taking place throughout the day. The $1 ticket will get you a chance to win a mystery ride in a WNYexotics car\, and a $5 ticket will get you a chance to pick your ride in a WNYexotics car. Talk about the ultimate Father’s Day gift! All proceeds generated from the raffle benefit the Buffalo Zoo.   \nIn addition to the regular food and drink offerings at Wild Burger and Slice\, there will be a special Day with Dad menu available at the pop-up tent located on gazebo lawn! Here you’ll find a variety of items like Italian sausage or bratwurst with grilled peppers and onions and other fun snacks. Guests who purchase an entrée and beverage receive a 20% discount off their entire purchase (offer only valid at the Wild Burger pop-up tent).     \nAs if your day wasn’t jampacked enough\, don’t forget to take a photo with one of your favorite superheroes throughout the day! Experience the wonder of the Zoo from the comfort of your car. At the end of your tour\, receive a variety four-pack of Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. beer to enjoy at home.   \nLoad-up the car and prepare for a cruise through the Zoo after hours – visiting some of your favorite animals including rhinos\, giraffe\, polar bear and lions\, all while munching on yummy snacks like Bavarian pretzels and popcorn. Drive Thru Zoo Brew is Saturday\, June 26\, 2021\, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.   \nEnter the Drive Thru Zoo Brew at Gate 3\, located at the round-a-bout along Crandall Drive. Access to Gate 3 is available from Amherst Street. Please note: Gate 3 is NOT the main entrance to the Zoo located at Parkside Avenue and Jewett Parkway.     \nFor the best experience\, please note the following:  \n\nThis is a drive thru only event. No guests on foot are permitted for this event. \nRemain in your vehicle for the entire event. All tailgates\, van/car doors\, and hatchbacks must remain closed for the entire event.  \nThe maximum size for a vehicle is 237” in length\, 79” in width\, and 82” in height. Commercial vehicles\, trailers\, RV’s\, and other oversized vehicles are not permitted. Motorcycles\, motorbikes\, bicycles\, and golf carts are not permitted.  \nPlease leave pets at home as they are not permitted on Zoo grounds.  \nThere must be an adult 21 years of age or older to receive the four-pack of beer. Valid ID required. \nPlease be kind to the environment by keeping everything in your car and properly disposing of trash and recycling after you leave the Zoo. \nDo not smoke or vape in your vehicle. \nPlease maintain a maximum speed of 5mph\, follow all signs and instructions by Zoo team members along the route. \nDo not honk horn\, rev engine\, play loud music\, or yell at animals or people along the route. \nConsume alcohol responsibly and do not drink and drive.  \nPre-paid\, non-refundable\, non-transferable tickets are required to attend the Drive Thru Zoo Brew at the Buffalo Zoo.
