SUMMARY:Easter Eggsperience - SOLD OUT
DESCRIPTION:Hop on over for a fun-filled day of Easter excitement at the Buffalo Zoo! This family-friendly event features a Zoo-wide Easter egg scavenger hunt\, including a photo op with the Easter bunny and a few other special friends\, complimentary train rides (weather permitting)\, and more! Bring your own basket or reusable bag to gather your Easter goodies. If you find one of the “egg”-stra special golden eggs\, you’ll receive a special surprise! Once you’re done with the bunny fun\, stay and explore — Zoo admission is included in the ticket price. This event is designed for children ages 12 and under. The scavenger hunt will take place from 11am-2pm.     \nWant the ultimate eggsperience? Book the VIP package! Groups of six will enjoy their very own table inside our Children’s Resource Center equipped with chocolate fondue\, dippables\, and non-alcoholic beverages\, along with a cash bar available for those late morning indulgences. Snack on these tasty treats all while getting to visit with our special animal ambassadors! This VIP event has two sessions to choose from\, 10:00 am – 11:00 am or 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm\, and will last one hour.    \nSpace is limited. The Buffalo Zoo will have tables throughout the campus where guests collect their Easter goodies! Guests can only visit each table one time so there are plenty of treats for all! This portion of the event will only be available between 11am and 2pm. The VIP event will begin at 10:00 am or 12:30 pm depending on your selected time. Please take into consideration the timeframes above and plan your day accordingly. Guests should enter and exit through the Buffalo Zoo front gate entrance located on Parkside Avenue.  \nThe Easter Eggsperience at the Buffalo Zoo is a festive event designed to celebrate the fun and excitement of the spring season. To ensure the best experience and to follow Buffalo Zoo guidelines\, please note the following:  \n\nPre-paid\, non-refundable\, non-transferable tickets are required to attend the Easter Eggsperience at the Buffalo Zoo. Should a ticket holder be unable to attend\, your purchase will be considered a donation. There will be no refunds\, nor will tickets be honored at another Easter Eggsperience or year. \nChildren 24 months and under are admitted free but require reserved tickets. Simply select “Member/General Admission Under 24 months” for each child who meets the age requirement. \nBuffalo Zoo Members receive a special member discount. Please bring your valid Buffalo Zoo membership card and identification to the event. A $5.00 per ticket fee is charged for Members who cannot provide a valid Buffalo Zoo membership card and identification. \nMember level tickets are non-transferable. The Member’s name must be on all tickets purchased\, and the Member must be present with a valid Buffalo Zoo membership card and identification at entry.   \n\n\nStrollers are not permitted at the Easter Eggsperience VIP event at the Buffalo Zoo. Counselors are responsible for overseeing the fun\, safety\, and wellbeing of campers; and assisting with delivery of camp curriculum and activities. Applicants should possess an enthusiastic outlook\, upbeat\, fun-loving personality. Current or retired teachers and college students majoring in Education\, Biology\, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Must have experience working with children.  \nCamp runs July 11 – August 19\, 2022\, with a training period in late June and/or early July. Standard shift is 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. We’re looking for face painters and airbrush tattoo artists to go above and beyond for all of our guests. Art Associates must be able to welcome all guests in a professional manner and provide exceptional service. In addition to interacting with our guests\, this position requires you to manage and clean the paint\, stencil\, and brush inventory and adhere to all hygiene standards. Individuals must possess an enthusiastic and fun-loving personality with superior customer service skills and attention to detail. Maturity and demonstrated responsibility is a must.  Experience with face painting and/or painting is an asset. Cash handling experience desired. Individuals will be handling various tools and equipment in their janitorial\, horticultural\, snow removal\, and events setup/breakdown day-to-day duties for all buildings and walkways\, as well as additional tasks as assigned by the Curator of Horticulture and Grounds.      \nExperience with garden/snow equipment is preferred. Position will work 28 hours per week during peak season. Must be able to work on holidays\, weekends\, and occasional evenings. This position is outdoors and requires standing\, walking\, bending down\, and other repetitive motions.
