DESCRIPTION:Come join Assemblymember Jon Rivera for a free screening of The Wizard of Oz at the Palace Theatre! This classic movie is fun for kids of all ages—and parents too! While the movie will begin at noon\, the Buffalo Zoo’s Zoomobile\, the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library’s Library2GO van\, and representatives from the Buffalo Museum of Science will be on-site starting at 9:00 AM. \nThe Zoomobile will have fun animal artifacts including pelts\, skulls\, horns\, and other animal adaptation tools. The Buffalo Museum of Science will have activities to teach the real-life magical science of tornadoes\, rainbows\, and bubbles. The Library2GO van will be on-site for guests to check out books or sign up for a library card. The Zoomobile and Library2GO van will be parked at the Village Community Market across the street from the Palace Theatre\, and the Science Museum will be at a table in front of the Theatre. \nTickets are limited (5 maximum per registrant) and guests must register in advance.
