The Buffalo Zoo Needs Your Help

Dear Friends of the Buffalo Zoo,

So many of us are grappling with sudden changes to our everyday lives. All of us here at the Zoo hope you are staying safe, staying healthy and staying positive.

Your Buffalo Zoo is still here and all of the animals are safe, healthy and happy. A team of animal care and veterinary staff are on-site to care for them while the Zoo is temporarily closed.

In these times, when everything is uncertain, everything that is important becomes clear. For our Buffalo Zoo, that is staying true to our first responsibility to provide exceptional animal care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year.

And we need your strong support to keep it that way. One hundred percent of your donation to our Emergency Response Fund will go directly to our vital daily operations, unparalleled animal care, and essential staff support.

Our commitment and dedication will never change and that’s why we urgently need your help.

Zoo admission, membership visits, and ticket sales are the financial backbone for the Zoo to provide care, food, and supplies for the animals and salaries for our zookeepers and other team members. While we will never question our decision to temporarily close the Zoo, the loss of much-needed revenue to support our animals is concerning.

Please chip in and send any gift you can. Your financial contributions will help at a time when we need it most.

With Gratitude,

Norah Fletchall
