The Buffalo Zoo offers kids birthday parties in Buffalo, NY for children 2–14 years old.
Birthday Parties are two (2) hours long. The guest can choose between two timeframes: 10:30 am–12:30 pm or 1:30–3:30 pm depending on availability.
Each kids birthday party includes a private indoor event space for you and your guests, admission to the Zoo for each guest, lunch (pizza, salad, and soda), a complimentary train and carousel ride for each child, a birthday gift inside Zootique for the celebrant, a discount at Zootique for all other guests, and a visit from one of our animal ambassadors. Pricing:
A birthday party at the Buffalo Zoo is $280. This includes admission for up to four (4) adults and ten (10) children. There is an additional charge for each individual beyond this designated amount. You can have up to twenty-five (25) guests maximum.
- Additional cost per Child: $12.55
- Additional cost per Adult: $16.15
Each Birthday Party Includes:
- On-site birthday party attendant
- Private indoor space inside the Children’s Resource Center.
- Admission to the Buffalo Zoo for each partygoer
- Lunch consisting of pizza, salad, and soda. Additional food and drink items may be purchased.
- Plates, cutlery, and cups
- A visit from one of our animal ambassadors.
- Voucher for each child to ride the train & carousel when in operation (must meet rider specifications; rides close at 4:00 pm)
- Birthday gift voucher for the celebrant to redeem inside Zootique.
- 20% off coupon for guests to use inside Zootique.
The Zoo does NOT supply:
- Cake/cake serving supplies
- Cutting knife
- Candles
- Matches
- Invitations
- Music
- Tape
Please note: guests are invited to bring any additional supplies, however balloons and straws are NOT allowed on Zoo grounds.
How to book a Birthday Party:
Full payment must be made at the time of booking. Members receive 15% off birthday parties. Members must be signed in to their online account to take advantage of the discount. A Buffalo Zoo team member will contact the reserving party the week of the reserved date to make any adjustments to guest count, food, etc. that may be needed.
