Program Description

Each of our virtual workshops feature a wide variety of activities involving exclusive opportunities, hands-on activities, and live animal demonstrations.

All you need to participate is an internet connected computer with a webcam and microphone.

 

Program Details

Buffalo Zoo Virtual Experiences:

 

Birds of Prey: Friday, October 16th 2:30-4:00

All ages, families, adults – children 6 and under must have an adult registered as well.

$20/person

Explore the wonders of our fearsome predators of the sky in this exciting workshop. We will learn the adaptations that make birds of prey great hunters, how you can tell what an owl has been snacking on, and even meet our Bird of Prey Zookeeper along with some of our ambassador birds. 

 

Behind the Scenes: Saturday, November 14th 1:00-2:30

All ages, families, adults – children 6 and under must have an adult registered as well.

$25/person

Join us for a tour like you’ve never seen before. In this fun-filled workshop, you will get the chance to virtually visit 3 behind the scenes areas, interact with zookeepers in each area and learn what it’s like to care for our amazing animal collection. 

 

Animal Training: Friday, December 4th 2:30-4:00

All ages, families, adults – children 6 and under must have an adult registered as well.

$20/person

Working with so many wild animals is an exciting and challenging job. See how our zookeepers use training techniques to make their jobs easier and their animals’ lives happier and learn a few tricks you can test out with your pets (or family members) at home!
