The opening of our newest exhibit, Boomerang Island. This temporary interactive exhibit is only here for the summer and will feature more than 300 birds native to the Australian Outback.

Experiences for Public

We offer a variety of educational experiences at the zoo for the public. These programs are opportunities for kids of all ages to enjoy and expand their knowledge of animal behavior/conservation though hands-on and immersive learning experiences at the Buffalo Zoo.

Experiences for Educators

The Education Department has the exciting responsibility of promoting public awareness of the natural world and its conservation through fun, interactive learning experiences. To accomplish that task, we provide a variety of general and specifically tailored programming at the Zoo and in the community for children and adults of all ages.
