Program Description

Join us for homeschool at the Zoo! Each session includes opportunities to meet animal ambassadors, a zoo scavenger hunt, and hands-on STEM activities! Activities are designed for ages 5-9, but all family members are welcome. Sample topics from 2025-2026 include: From Fruit to Poop the Journey of Digestion and Super Powered Senses.  

Programs are 1.5 hours in length from 12:30-2:00 pm on select Mondays and Wednesdays from September 2026 to June 2027.

Program Details

Cost: 

$300.00 for all nine sessions for nonmembers, includes zoo admission for one adult and registrant. To register two children, use the code NONMEMBERSIB for sibling discount. 

$160.00 for all nine sessions for members, members use code MEMBER2026 for coupon during checkout, (membership details will be independently verified).

BUFFALO ZOO EDUCATION PROGRAM REFUND POLICY 

If Buffalo Zoo cancels a program, a tuition refund will be offered to all participants. If a registrant wishes to cancel, the policy is as follows: 

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before program: Eligible for a full refund minus $50 processing fee. 
  • Processing time: Approved refunds will take approximately 5 business days to process.
