Buffalo Zoo Statement on Positive COVID-19 Test in Tiger
As an AZA-accredited organization, we collaborate with other zoos and aquariums to share information and incorporate best practices into our important work at the Buffalo Zoo. We also follow the guidance of several federal, state and local government agencies and will continue to do so. The Zoo is carefully tracking the latest, credible information on this rapidly unfolding situation and will incorporate any expert recommendations into our already stringent practices. It is important to note, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at the Buffalo Zoo in either our team members or the animals in our care and none are displaying any symptoms. We send our best wishes to our friends at the Bronx Zoo and all those caring for animals at accredited zoos and aquariums across the globe.
