Spaces Still Available For The Buffalo Zoo’s Junior Teen Naturalist Program

Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Zoo announces registration for its Junior Zoo Teen Naturalist program is still open!

The Junior Zoo Teen Naturalist program is designed for teens (ages 13-14 years old) who are interested in animals and the environment. Junior Zoo Teen Naturalists will investigate the animal world by exploring a wide variety of topics, including exhibit design, animal care, animal handling and more. Each week will be full of hand-on activities and live animal encounters that help teach them more about the Zoo.

There are spaces still available during Session 1 of the program (July 11-29). Please note that Session 2 (August 1-19) is already full.

The program fee is $270 for Buffalo Zoo members and $300 for non-members. Each session is held for three weeks every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The program is limited to 15 participants per session.

For more information about the Junior Zoo Teen Naturalist program, please contact the Buffalo Zoo’s Education Department, at (716) 995-6128 or visit the Zoo’s website at: www.buffalozoo.org.
