Program Description

Full one day camp is BACK at the Buffalo Zoo! Join us for a wild camp experience like no other. Campers will learn and discover through visits to animal habitats, up close animal encounters, crafts, art, nature play, hands-on activities, and more! What:  Full One Day Camp
Who:  Campers ages 6–8 and 9–12
Where:  The Buffalo Zoo
When: October 13th Indigenous Peoples’ Day & November 11th Veterans Day
Time: 9:00 am- 3:00 pm on Monday, October 13th & Tuesday, November 11th
Cost:  $63 Member price per person. $70 Non-Member price.

Current school vaccination records required at least one week prior to camp start. Instructions for submission are included in the registration process.

October 13 Indigenous Peoples’ Day – Backyard Safari! 
We all know about the animals that live around the world but what about in your very own backyard? Come join us on October 13th and together we can learn about the amazing animals that inhabit our very own western New York! Campers will sit in for a lesson, meet an education ambassador animal, visit an exhibit, and participate in a craft and activity.
November 11 Veterans Day – Exceptional Extinction and Compelling Conservation
5…4…3…2…1…0? What happens when the clock strikes zero for some of the species that inhabit our earth?  Join us on November 11th and learn about some animals that are no longer with us and how we can prevent more species from becoming just fossils! Campers will sit in for a lesson, meet an education ambassador animal, visit an exhibit, and participate in a craft and activity.
